Seasons in the Fall
by: Peter Dumas
About the Author
Peter W. Dumas was a member of the CHS varsity soccer team from 1970-72, and was a tri-captain as a senior in 1972. As an aspiring journalist, he kept a daily sports diary during the 1971 season which has formed the basis of “Seasons in the Fall”.
After high school, Peter played one season at Bryant College. Instead of journalism, he pursued a career in accounting, and after 16 years working for an international auditing firm, he formed his own consulting firm which specializes in finance for early stage technology firms.
A lifelong sports fanatic and Padres fan, Peter lives in West Boylston, MA with his wife Heidi. “Seasons in the Fall” is Peter’s first book, and is dedicated to his wife and his children Lindsay (an NYU and PC grad) and Andrew (just completed his Masters program at BU School of Medicine), all of whom share (to varying degrees) his love of all things sports.
